best survey for Internal auditory meatus(IAMs)

like to know what you use as a localisation survey for iams in ur dept - T1W or T2W surveys?

Hi probably the wrong place to post this, but i had an mri today and although i am not usually a wimp i had to press the alarm 40 secs before the final in depth scan as it felt like my head was going to explode.  I have looked on line and this does not seem like a normal reaction.  I had the mris due to constant tiredness and dizzy spells.  Can anyone shed light as to why i had this reaction in the mri scanner??
